  • Ensure the Fixed Core systems (Nokia - EWSD, Alcatel - OCB283, IMS, Sonus, etc.) operate reliably and without faults through maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Prepare documentation and maintain a database for daily operational tasks.
  • Develop and implement action plans for all systems and nodes.
  • Maintain customer satisfaction by addressing issues escalated by customer care, other teams, and the NOC.
  • Resolve all Trouble Tickets (TTs), Fault Tickets (FTs), Work Orders (WOs), and incidents.
  • Conduct daily activities for all CORE systems.
  • Support new project implementations, hardware expansions, software upgrades, and configurations related to core systems.
  • Operate and maintain the National International Switching Center (Nokia & EWSD).
  • Plan and study the migration from legacy systems to new ones.
  • 1Handle daily routing requests for wholesale, both manually and automatically, for national and international carriers and operators.
  • Collaborate with other teams to meet core team requirements.
  • Manage VoIP and TDM trunk routes to specific country destinations, distributing traffic based on offers, quality, and agreements.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for alarms or issues on the platforms, as well as with suppliers/skill centers.
  • Follow up on open Customer Service Requests (CSRs) related to all core platforms.
  • Implement preventive and corrective procedures for voice call issues.
  • Develop and implement billing file scripts and FTP processes for call records generated from voice traffic 

 

  • Problem Solving, English Language Proficiency, Communication Skills, Strategic planning, Capacity to work under stress.;

  • - Very good knowledge of IP switching and routing (CCNA & CCNP certificates are a plus).
  • - Have a good knowledge of cloud computing and virtualization (attending at least one successful training is a preferred / open-stack certificate is a plus).
  • - Entry level from 1 to 3 years of continuous professional technical experience in Core Networks architecture and technologies.
  • - Bachelor's degree in Telecom, Communication or Computer Engineering.
